For Beam Hoisting:
Gantry crane for beam hoisting is composed of main beam, supporting legs, crane traveling mechanism, hoisting mechanism, electric control, hydraulic system, cabin, railing, ladder and walkway, etc. And there are 2 types of crane traveling: Tire traveling and rail traveling.
The crane traveling, steering and hoisting of tire type gantry crane are all driven by hydraulic, which can realize traveling straight, oblique and horizontal, etc. Features of tire type gantry crane: Strong adaptability, high working efficiency, small footprint, need no rails, etc. Thus it is widely used for high speed railway construction for beam lifting, moving and loading.
Rail mounted gantry crane for beam hoisting is usually for lifting railway beams within 1,000t, which is driven by generating units on it. This crane travels on rails with 2 directions: straight and horizontal.
Features of Rail Type Gantry Crane for Beam Hoisting:
1. With special spreader;
2. Two cranes, two trolley, and Max. lifting height: 30m;
3. The concrete beam is parallel to crane rail;
4. Max. wheel load is 22t while lifting 900t beam;
5. Carry out 90°steering on straight and horizontal rails;
6. 4 points hoisting, 3 points balancing to ensure wire rope balancing and accurate landing;
7. Trolley adopts hydraulic push pole to realize different beam hoisting to save cost;
8. Total 4 winch trolley, which realizes drive separately, 2-2 drive or 4 simultaneous drive.

For Beam Moving:
Gantry crane for beam moving is mainly used for passenger railroad construction for concrete beam moving. Users can use 2 gantry cranes (500t, 450t) or 1 gantry crane (1,000t, 900t) with 2 lifting points to handle beams. There are 2 type for crane traveling: tire type and rail type.
